Delete your account and personal data
Use this page to request deletion of your Saudi Petsitters account and personal data. This link is provided for app store compliance and for anyone who cannot access the app.
Quick summary
Email privacy@saudipetsitters.com from your registered email address to request full data erasure, or sign in and use Settings → Delete Account to close your account immediately.
1. Overview
You have the right to request deletion of your Saudi Petsitters account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how to submit a deletion request and what happens after we receive it.
2. Delete your account in the app
If you are signed in, you can close your account immediately from Settings. This deactivates your account, hides your profile and listings, and signs you out. You will not be able to log back in. Some records may be retained as described below.
3. Request full data erasure
To request permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data, email us from the address linked to your account. Include your full name and, if possible, the phone number on your profile. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
4. What we delete
When we process a verified deletion request, we remove or anonymise personal data such as your profile, contact details, pet information, messages, photos, and host listings where legally permitted.
5. What we may retain
We may retain certain records when required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including completed booking and payment records, fraud-prevention logs, and legal acceptance timestamps. Retained data is limited to what is necessary and is not used for marketing.
6. Processing time
We aim to confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, in line with our Privacy Policy. We will notify you by email when your request has been processed or if we need additional information.
